OIL PUMP REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT OIL PUMP OIL SEAL


    1. A01MVSAN01

      Using SST and a hammer, install a new front oil pump oil seal.

      SST
      09350-30020   ( 09351-32140 )
      Drive in depth
      -0.2 to 0.2 mm (-0.00787 to 0.00787 in.)

    2. Coat the lip of the front oil pump oil seal with MP grease.

  2. FIX FRONT OIL PUMP BODY SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Place the front oil pump body sub-assembly on the torque converter assembly.

  3. INSTALL FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVEN GEAR


    1. A01MUEB

      Coat the front oil pump driven gear with ATF, and install it to the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

  4. INSTALL FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVE GEAR


    1. A01MWVB

      Coat the front oil pump drive gear with ATF, and install it to the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

  5. INSTALL FRONT OIL PUMP BODY O-RING


    1. A01MYVU

      Coat a new front oil pump body O-ring with ATF, and install it to the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

  6. INSTALL STATOR SHAFT ASSEMBLY


    1. A01MUGH

      Align the bolt holes of the stator shaft assembly with the bolt holes of the front oil pump body sub-assembly and install the stator shaft assembly to the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

    2. Using "TORX" socket wrench T30, install the stator shaft assembly with the 14 screws.

      Torque:
      10.8 N*m  { 110 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

  7. INSTALL CLUTCH DRUM OIL SEAL RING

      Coat 3 new clutch drum oil seal rings with ATF.

    2. Squeeze the ends of the 3 clutch drum oil seal rings so that the gap distance becomes 8 mm (0.315 in.) or less, and then install them to the stator shaft groove.

      Note

      Do not squeeze the oil seal rings excessively.

      Tech Tips

      After installing the clutch drum oil seal rings, check that they rotate smoothly.

  9. INSTALL FRONT OIL PUMP BODY O-RING

      Coat a new front oil pump body O-ring with ATF, and install it to the oil pump assembly.
