TRANSMISSION WIRE INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION WIRE


    1. Coat a new O-ring with ATF and install it to the transmission wire.

    2. Install the transmission wire with the bolt.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }
    3. A01MXN6

      Connect the transmission wire connector.

      Tech Tips

      Push up the lever until the claw of the transmission wire connector makes a connection sound.

  2. CONNECT TRANSMISSION WIRE


    1. Connect the 9 solenoid valve connectors.

    2. Coat the ATF temperature sensor O-ring with ATF.

    3. Install the ATF temperature sensor and the temperature sensor clamp with the bolt.

      Torque:
      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

      *1 Valve Body Wire Harness Clamps

      Install the 2 valve body wire harness clamps with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      for Bolt A
      6.4 N*m  { 65 kgf*cm, 57 in.*lbf }
      for Bolt B
      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL VALVE BODY OIL STRAINER ASSEMBLY


    1. Coat a new O-ring with ATF and install it to the valve body oil strainer assembly.

    2. Install the valve body oil strainer assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL TRANSMISSION OIL CLEANER MAGNET


    1. A01MWRCC05
      *1 Transmission Oil Cleaner Magnet

      Install the 3 transmission oil cleaner magnets to the automatic transmission oil pan sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  5. INSTALL AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install a new automatic transmission oil pan gasket and automatic transmission oil pan sub-assembly with the 20 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.0 N*m  { 71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf }

      Note

      Make sure that there is no oil or foreign matter on the automatic transmission oil pan gasket and automatic transmission oil pan sub-assembly contact surface.

  6. INSTALL NO. 1 EXHAUST PIPE SUPPORT BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01MWN6C02
      *1 Nut

      Install the No. 1 exhaust pipe support bracket sub-assembly with the 4 bolts and 2 new nuts.

      Torque:
      Bolt A
      43 N*m  { 438 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf }
      Bolt B
      39 N*m  { 398 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      When installing on the exhaust side, hold the nuts while tightening the bolts.

  7. ADD AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID

  8. INSPECT FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID LEAK

  9. INSPECT FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAK

  10. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for Half Cover Type)
