CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM(for 2GR-FSE, 4GR-FSE) DTC CHECK / CLEAR


  1. CHECK DTC


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Cruise Control / Trouble Codes.

    5. Check the details of the DTC(s).

  2. CLEAR DTC (Using the GTS)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Cruise Control / Trouble Codes.

    5. Clear the DTCs.


      Powertrain > Cruise Control > Clear DTCs

  3. CLEAR DTC (Without using the GTS)


    1. Perform either one of the following operations:

      Note

      After turning engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

      1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal for more than 1 minute.

      2. Remove the EFI-MAIN and ETCS fuses from the No. 2 engine room relay block and No. 2 junction block assembly, located inside the engine compartment for more than 1 minute.
