OIL PUMP(for 2GR) REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT OIL PUMP OIL SEAL


    1. B003WT6N01

      Using SST and a hammer, tap in a new front oil pump oil seal.

      SST
      09350-30020   ( 09351-32140 )
      Standard depth
      -0.2 to 0.2 mm (-0.0079 to 0.0078 in.)

      Tech Tips

      The front oil pump oil seal end should be flush with the outer edge of the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

    2. Coat the lip of the front oil pump oil seal with MP grease.

  2. FIX FRONT OIL PUMP BODY SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Place the front oil pump body sub-assembly on the torque converter assembly.

  3. INSTALL FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVEN GEAR

    *1 Front Oil Pump Driven Gear

    1. Coat the front oil pump driven gear with ATF.

    2. Install the front oil pump driven gear to the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

  4. INSTALL FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVE GEAR

    *1 Front Oil Pump Drive Gear

    1. Coat the front oil pump drive gear with ATF.

    2. Install the front oil pump drive gear to the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

  5. INSTALL FRONT OIL PUMP BODY O-RING

    *1 Front Oil Pump Body O-ring

    1. Coat a new front oil pump body O-ring with ATF.

    2. Install the front oil pump body O-ring to the oil pump body.

  6. INSTALL STATOR SHAFT ASSEMBLY

    A01MYS7

    1. Align the stator shaft with each bolt hole and install it.

    2. Using ''TORX'' socket wrench T30, install the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      11 N*m  { 112 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

  7. INSTALL STATOR SHAFT CLUTCH DRUM THRUST WASHER

      *1 Stator Shaft Clutch Drum Thrust Washer

      Align the 2 claws and install the stator shaft clutch drum thrust washer.

  8. INSTALL STATOR SHAFT PISTON

    *1 O-ring

    1. Coat 2 new O-rings with ATF and install them to the stator shaft piston.

    2. B003TF0C01
      *1 No. 1 Brake Piston Return Spring Sub-assembly
      *2 No. 1 Brake Piston

      Install the stator shaft piston and stator shaft spring sub-assembly.

    3. Using ''TORX'' socket wrench T30, install the 5 bolts.

      Torque:
      11 N*m  { 112 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

  9. INSPECT OIL PUMP DRIVE GEAR ROTATION

  10. INSTALL CLUTCH DRUM OIL SEAL RING

    A01MVFP

    1. Coat 4 new clutch drum oil seal rings with ATF.

    2. Squeeze the ends of the 4 clutch drum oil seal rings so that the gap becomes 8 mm (0.32 in.) or less, and then install them to the stator shaft groove.

      Note

      Do not expand the ring ends excessively.

      Tech Tips

      After installing the clutch drum oil seal rings, check that they rotate smoothly.

  11. INSTALL OIL PUMP O-RING

      *1 Oil Pump Assembly
      *2 Oil Pump O-ring

      Install a new oil pump O-ring with ATF and install them to the oil pump assembly.
