COLD START INJECTOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE

  2. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time maybe required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  4. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE COLD START FUEL INJECTOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the cold start fuel injector assembly connector.

    2. A01MV8P

      Remove the bolt and 2 gaskets, and disconnect the fuel tube sub-assembly from the cold start fuel injector assembly.

      Note

      Do not fold or bend the hose.

    3. A01MY9V

      Remove the 2 bolts, gasket and cold start fuel injector assembly from the intake air surge tank assembly.
