FUEL INJECTOR INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FUEL INJECTOR ASSEMBLY

    Note

    This inspection aims at checking the fuel injector assembly for an open or short. Because the fuel injector assemblies of this vehicle are a high-pressure type, fuel injection volume cannot be checked.


    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 20°C (68°F) 2.01 to 2.31 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel injector assembly.
