COLD START INJECTOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL COLD START FUEL INJECTOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A01MZ2WC01
      *a Protrusion
      *b Groove

      Install a new gasket to the intake air surge tank assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Align the protrusion of the gasket with the groove of the intake air surge tank assembly.

    2. Install the cold start fuel injector assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

    3. Install 2 new gaskets and the fuel tube sub-assembly to the cold start fuel injector assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      15 N*m  { 153 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf }

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the gasket.

      • Do not fold or bend the fuel tube sub-assembly.

    4. Connect the cold start fuel injector assembly connector.

  2. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
