ENGINE UNIT REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT

    Click here

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE COVER

      Disconnect the clamp from the No. 2 engine cover.

    2. Remove the 3 clips and No. 2 engine cover.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER

    Click here

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 IDLER PULLEY SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  5. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  6. REMOVE COMPRESSOR AND MAGNETIC CLUTCH

    Click here

  7. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET LH

      Disconnect the 2 clamps.

    2. Remove the 4 bolts and front No. 1 engine mounting bracket LH from the cylinder block sub-assembly.

  8. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET RH

      Remove the 4 bolts and front No. 1 engine mounting bracket RH from the cylinder block sub-assembly.

  9. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT TENSIONER ASSEMBLY

  10. REMOVE WATER PUMP PULLEY

    Click here

  11. REMOVE ENGINE WIRE


    1. Remove the engine wire from the engine assembly.

  12. REMOVE INJECTOR DRIVER

    Click here

  13. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  14. REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  15. REMOVE NO. 2 SURGE TANK STAY

      Disconnect the 2 clamps from the No. 2 surge tank stay.

    2. Remove the bolt and No. 2 surge tank stay from the camshaft housing sub-assembly LH.

  16. REMOVE NO. 3 WATER BY-PASS PIPE

      *1 No. 3 Water By-pass Pipe
      *2 No. 8 Water By-pass Hose
      *3 No. 9 Water By-pass Hose

      Remove the bolt and No. 3 water by-pass pipe from the camshaft housing sub-assembly RH.

    2. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 8 water by-pass hose from the water outlet pipe assembly.

    3. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 9 water by-pass hose from the rear water by-pass joint.

  17. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD

  18. REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER ASSEMBLY

  19. REMOVE NO. 1 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  20. DISCONNECT NO. 2 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  21. REMOVE FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  22. REMOVE NO. 2 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  23. REMOVE NO. 3 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  24. REMOVE WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET

      Remove the bolt and wire harness clamp bracket from the camshaft housing sub-assembly RH.

  25. REMOVE V-BANK COVER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the bolt and V-bank cover bracket sub-assembly from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly RH.

  26. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY
