PROCEDURE
INSTALL TIMING GEAR CASE OR TIMING CHAIN CASE OIL SEAL
Apply MP grease to the lip of a new timing gear case or timing chain case oil seal.
Note
Keep the lip free of foreign matter.

Using SST and a hammer, tap in the timing gear case or timing chain case oil seal until its surface is flush with the timing chain or belt cover sub-assembly edge.

Note
Keep the lip free of foreign matter.
Do not tap the timing gear case or timing chain case oil seal at an angle.
Do not deform the timing gear case or timing chain case oil seal.
Make sure that the timing gear case or timing chain case oil seal is not protruded from the timing chain or belt cover sub-assembly.
Wipe off MP grease on the crankshaft.
Make sure that the lip of the timing gear case or timing chain case oil seal is not turned over.
INSTALL CRANKSHAFT TIMING GEAR KEY
Install the crankshaft timing gear key to the crankshaft groove.
INSTALL CRANKSHAFT PULLEY
Align the crankshaft timing gear key with the key groove of the crankshaft pulley, and slide on the crankshaft pulley.

Using SST, hold the crankshaft pulley and install the crankshaft pulley bolt.
CONNECT WIRE HARNESS
Install the wire harness bracket with the bolt.
Connect the engine oil pressure switch assembly connector.
INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT
INSTALL FAN SHROUD ASSEMBLY
INSPECT FOR ENGINE OIL LEAK
