STARTER(w/o Stop And Start System) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the starter assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

   2. Connect terminal 30 with the nut.

      Torque:

      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

   3. Close the terminal cap.

   4. Connect the starter assembly connector.

2. INSTALL STEERING SLIDING WITH SHAFT YOKE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

4. ALIGN FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD (for RHD)

5. CHECK AND ADJUST FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT (for RHD)

6. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER

7. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE
