PROCEDURE
INSTALL AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 1)
| *A | for LHD |
| *B | for RHD |
| *a | Torque Wrench Fulcrum Length |
Using SST, install the air fuel ratio sensor to the exhaust manifold sub-assembly RH (TWC: Front Catalyst).
Note
If the air fuel ratio sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
Tech Tips
Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.
When using SST (fulcrum length of 30 mm (1.18 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 180 mm (7.09 in.)):
37.7 N*m (384 kgf*cm, 28 ft.*lbf)
Engage the 2 clamps and connect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.
INSTALL AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 2)
| *A | for LHD |
| *B | for RHD |
| *a | Torque Wrench Fulcrum Length |
Using SST, install the air fuel ratio sensor to the exhaust manifold sub-assembly LH (TWC: Front Catalyst).
Engage the clamp and connect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.
CONNECT NO. 3 ENGINE ROOM RELAY BLOCK
Connect the No. 3 engine room relay block to the vehicle body with the bolt and nut.
INSTALL BATTERY TRAY (for LHD)
Install the battery tray with the 3 bolts.
INSTALL BATTERY TRAY (for RHD)
Install the battery tray with the 3 bolts.
Engage the clamp to connect the wire harness to the battery tray.
INSTALL POWER STEERING ECU ASSEMBLY
for LHD:
for RHD:
INSPECT FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAK
PERFORM INITIALIZATION
Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing an air fuel ratio sensor.
