PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE INNER NO. 1 SHIFT LEVER


    1. A01QORO

      Using a 5 mm pin punch and hammer, remove the slotted spring pin from the inner No. 1 shift lever.

    2. A01QUDR

      Remove the inner No. 1 shift lever and shift interlock plate from the shift and select lever shaft.

  2. REMOVE SHIFT AND SELECT LEVER SHAFT


    1. Remove the control shaft cover and shift and select lever boot from the shift and select lever shaft.

  3. REMOVE SHIFT GATE PLATE


    1. A01QSNT

      Remove the 2 bolts and shift gate plate from the inner No. 1 shift lever.

  4. REMOVE PIN


    1. A01QO83

      Remove the 2 pins.

  5. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER DAMPER


    1. A01QSUB

      Remove the 2 bolts and shift lever damper from the shift and select lever shaft.

  6. REMOVE CONTROL SHAFT COVER OIL SEAL


    1. A01QUCEC01
      *a Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver, remove the control shaft cover oil seal from the control shaft cover.

      Note

      Do not damage the installation surfaces of the control shaft cover.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
