  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. DISCONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY


    1. Move the shift lever to N.

    2. A01QPJRC01
      A01QP5R Disconnect in this Direction

      Disconnect the end of the transmission control cable assembly from the shift lever assembly.

    3. A01QPHNC01
      *1 Stopper
      *2 Nut
      A01QP5R Turn in this Direction
      A01QRDS Pull out in this Direction

      Pull out the stopper of the transmission control cable assembly.

    4. Turn the nut counterclockwise approximately 180° and, while holding the nut in that position, disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the shift lever assembly.

      Note

      Do not over-rotate the nut as it will come off the internal spring and the transmission control cable assembly will not be reusable.

  3. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors and 4 clamps from the shift lever assembly.

    2. A01QS3V

      Remove the 4 bolts and shift lever assembly.
