PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER

  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE

  7. REMOVE FUEL HOSE PROTECTOR

      Disconnect the suction control valve connector and fuel temperature sensor connector from the fuel supply pump assembly.

    2. Disconnect the turbocharger connector and detach the 2 clamps.

    3. Disconnect the exhaust fuel addition injector connector.

      Remove the bolt and fuel hose protector.

  8. REMOVE FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  9. REMOVE EXHAUST FUEL ADDITION INJECTOR ASSEMBLY

      *1 Washer
      *2 Nozzle Holder Clamp

      Remove the bolt, washer, nozzle holder clamp, exhaust fuel addition injector assembly and gasket.

  10. REMOVE FUEL INJECTOR SEAL

      *1 Fuel Injector Seal

      Remove the fuel injector seal from the exhaust fuel addition injector assembly.
