PROCEDURE
REMOVE FUEL TANK
DISCONNECT FUEL EMISSION HOSE

Slide the 2 clamps and disconnect the No. 1 fuel evaporation tube sub-assembly and charcoal canister outlet tube sub-assembly from the fuel suction plate.
Pinch the retainer as shown in the illustration, and then disconnect the fuel emission hose from the fuel suction plate.
Note
Clean off any dirt and foreign matter from the clip before disconnecting the hoses.
Do not use any tools in this procedure.
Do not forcefully bend or twist the nylon tube.
Put the hose in a plastic bag to prevent damage and contamination.
If the connector is stuck, pinch the retainer and push and pull the hose to disconnect it.
DISCONNECT FUEL TANK MAIN TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY
Remove the tube joint clip and fuel tank main tube sub-assembly.
Note
Before removing the tube joint clip, check for foreign matter around the clip. Clean if necessary.
Keep the O-ring free of foreign matter, as it becomes contaminated easily.
Do not use any tools in this procedure.
Do not forcefully bend or twist the tube.
Put the tube in a plastic bag to prevent damage and contamination.
If the fuel suction plate and tube are stuck together, pinch the tube and turn it carefully to disconnect it.
Be careful not to damage the clip. If the clip is damaged, replace it.
REMOVE FUEL TANK VENT TUBE SET PLATE
Remove the 8 bolts and fuel tank vent tube set plate.
REMOVE FUEL SUCTION TUBE ASSEMBLY WITH PUMP
Slide the clamp and disconnect the fuel hose and remove the fuel suction with pump from the fuel tank assembly.
Note
Do not damage the fuel suction tube assembly with pump.

Remove the gasket from the fuel suction tube assembly with pump.
