WHEEL OPENING MOULDING REMOVAL

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

2. REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER

   Click here

3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MUDGUARD LH (w/ Mudguard)

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the clip.

   2. Remove the 3 screws and front fender mudguard LH.

4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER FRONT OUTSIDE MOULDING LH

   Tech Tips

   When removing the front fender front outside moulding LH, heat the vehicle body and front fender front outside moulding LH using a heat light.

   Standard
   Item Temperature Vehicle Body 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F) Front Fender Front Outside Moulding LH 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

   Note

   Do not heat the vehicle body or front fender front outside moulding LH excessively.

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Double-sided Tape
      *b	Clip A
      *c	Clip B
      	Protective Tape

      Remove the clip labeled A and clip labeled B.

   2. Remove the 5 grommets.

   3. Put protective tape around the front fender front outside moulding LH.

   4. Using a moulding remover, detach the 8 clips.

   5. Detach the double-sided tape to remove the front fender front outside moulding LH.

5. REMOVE REAR WHEEL HOUSE FRONT PLATE LH

   

   
   

   1. Remove the screw.

   2. Detach the clip and rear wheel house front plate LH.

6. REMOVE CENTER QUARTER OUTSIDE MOULDING LH

   Tech Tips

   When removing the center quarter outside moulding LH, heat the vehicle body and center quarter outside moulding LH using a heat light.

   Standard
   Item Temperature Vehicle Body 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F) Center Quarter Outside Moulding LH 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

   Note

   Do not heat the vehicle body or center quarter outside moulding LH excessively.

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Double-sided Tape
      	Protective Tape

      Remove the 2 clips and grommet.

   2. Put protective tape around the center quarter outside moulding LH.

   3. Using a moulding remover, detach the 9 clips.

   4. Detach the double-sided tape to remove the center quarter outside moulding LH.
