  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

    Click here

  2. REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER

    Click here

  3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MUDGUARD LH (w/ Mudguard)

      Remove the clip.

    2. Remove the 3 screws and front fender mudguard LH.

  4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    Tech Tips

    When removing the front fender moulding, heat the vehicle body and front front fender moulding using a heat light.

    Standard
    Item Temperature
    Vehicle Body 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    Front Fender Moulding 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

    Note

    Do not heat the vhecle body or front fender moulding excessively.


    1. A01KBMJC01
      *1 Protective Tape
      *2 Double-sided Tape
      *3 Clip A
      *4 Clip B

      Remove the 2 clips labeled A and clip labeled B.

    2. Put protective tape around the front fender moulding sub-assemlby LH.

    3. Using a moulding remover, detach the 8 clips.

    4. Detach the double -sided tape to remove the front fender moulding sub-assembly LH.

  5. REMOVE REAR WHELL HOUSE FRONT PLATE LH

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the clip and rear wheeel house front plate LH.

  6. REMOVE QUARTER OUTSIDE MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    *1 Protective Tape
    *2 Double-sided Tape

    Tech Tips

    When removing the quarter outside moulding, heat the vehicle body and quarter outside moulding using a heat light.

    Standard
    Item Temperature
    Vehicle Body 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    Quarter Outside Moulding 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

    Note

    Do not heat the vhecle body or quarter outside moulding excessively.


    1. Remove the 2 clips.

    2. Using a moulding remover, detach the 9 clips.

    3. Detach the double-sided tape to remove the quarter outside moulding sub-assembly LH.
