REAR BUMPER INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER LH


    1. Install the rear bumper upper retainer LH with the clip.

  2. INSTALL REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH


    1. Install the rear bumper side support LH with the screw.

    2. Install the clip.

  4. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  5. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the rear bumper arm sub-assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

  6. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. for Step Type:

      Install the rear bumper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 6 bolts.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

    2. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:

      Install the rear bumper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 6 bolts.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

    3. for Standard Type:

      Install the rear bumper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 6 bolts.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

  8. INSTALL NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SERVICE COVER PROTECTOR


    1. Install the No. 2 luggage compartment service cover protector with the 2 clips.

  9. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SERVICE COVER PROTECTOR

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  10. INSTALL REAR BUMPER COVER


    1. Attach the 10 claws to install the rear bumper cover.

    2. Install the 2 bolts.

    3. A00YUC8C01
      *1 Screw A
      *2 Screw B

      Install the 2 screws labeled A and screw labeled B.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure to remove the screw on the other side.

    4. Install the 6 clips.

  11. INSTALL REAR QUARTER PANEL MUDGUARD LH (w/ Mudguard)


    1. A00YV88C01
      *1 Screw A
      *2 Screw B

      Install the rear quarter panel mudguard LH with the 3 screws labeled A.

    2. Install the 2 screws labeled B.

  12. INSTALL REAR QUARTER PANEL MUDGUARD RH (w/ Mudguard)
