POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH (for LHD)

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Power Window Regulator Master Switch Assembly)

      w/ Jam Protection Function:

      
      

      1. Check the switch function.

      2. Check that the window lock switch is off.

      3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Check that the LED illuminates.

      
      

      1. Apply battery voltage to the power window regulator master switch assembly and check that the LED illuminates.

         OK
         Measurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → 3 (LED) Battery negative (-) → 1 (E) LED illuminates

         If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator master switch assembly.

   3.

      3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator master switch assembly.
