POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM(w/o Jam Protection Function) Driver Side Power Window does not Operate with Power Window Master Switch

DESCRIPTION

When the ignition switch is ON, the front power window regulator motor assembly LH is operated by the power window regulator master switch assembly. The front power window regulator motor assembly LH has motor function.

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

      Disconnect the power window regulator master switch assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J5-1 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      J5-6 (B) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

  2. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY - FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH)


    1. Disconnect the J5 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the J2 front power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J5-3 (U) - J2-2 (U) Always Below 1 Ω
      J5-4 (D) - J2-1 (D) Always Below 1 Ω
      J5-3 (U) or J2-2 (U) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
