DESCRIPTION

When the ignition switch is ON, the rear power window regulator motor assembly RH is operated by the rear power window regulator switch assembly RH.

  1. INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Remove the rear power window regulator switch assembly RH.

      Disconnect the rear power window regulator switch assembly RH connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      K1-3 (B) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      Ignition switch off Below 1 V

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH - REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH)


    1. Disconnect K3 the rear power window regulator motor assembly RH connector.

    2. Disconnect K1 the rear power window regulator switch assembly RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K3-1 (U) - K1-4 (U) Always Below 1 Ω
      K3-2 (D) - K1-1 (D) Always Below 1 Ω
      K3-1 (U) or K1-4 (U) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      K3-2 (D) or K1-1 (D) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. Disconnect the K1 rear power window regulator switch assembly RH connector.

    2. Disconnect the J5 rear power window regulator master switch assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K1-5 (SU) - J5-10 (U) Always Below 1 Ω
      K1-2 (SD) - J5-18 (D) Always Below 1 Ω
      K1-5 (SU) or J5-10 (U) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      K1-2 (SD) or J5-18 (D) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
