POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM(w/ Jam Protection Function) Front Passenger Side Power Window does not Operate with Front Passenger Side Power Window Switch

DESCRIPTION

When the ignition switch is ON, the front power window regulator motor assembly RH (for LHD) or front power window regulator motor assembly LH (for RHD) is operated by the power window regulator switch assembly.

    1. Remove the power window regulator switch assembly.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    2. Disconnect the I2 front power window regulator motor assembly RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I4-4 (U) - I2-2 (U) Always Below 1 Ω
      I4-1 (D) - I2-1 (D) Always Below 1 Ω
      I4-4 (U) or I2-2 (U) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    2. Disconnect the I4 power window regulator switch assembly connector.
