DESCRIPTION

The front power window regulator motor assembly LH (for LHD) or front power window regulator motor assembly RH (for RHD) is operated by the power window regulator master switch assembly. The front power window regulator motor assembly LH (for LHD) or front power window regulator motor assembly RH (for RHD) has motor and ECU functions.

This DTC is output when the front power window regulator motor assembly LH (for LHD) or front power window regulator motor assembly RH (for RHD) is malfunctioning, or the ECU built into the front power window regulator motor assembly LH (for LHD) or front power window regulator motor assembly RH (for RHD) determines that the fully closed window position has deviated approximately 20 mm (0.787 in.) or more from the normal position.

  • When ECU in front power window regulator motor assembly LH (for LHD) or front power window regulator motor assembly RH (for RHD) determines that fully closed window position has deviated approximately 20 mm (0.787 in.) or more from normal position


  • Front power window regulator motor assembly LH (for LHD)

  • Front power window regulator motor assembly RH (for RHD)

  • Incorrect installation of power window components

  • Overheated front power window regulator motor assembly LH (for LHD)

  • Overheated front power window regulator motor assembly RH (for RHD)

Note


  • DTC B2311 is stored in the front power window regulator motor assembly LH (for LHD) or front power window regulator motor assembly RH (for RHD).

  • If the front power window regulator motor assembly LH (for LHD) or front power window regulator motor assembly RH (for RHD) has been replaced with a new one, initialize the power window control system.

  • If the front power window regulator motor assembly LH (for LHD) or front power window regulator motor assembly RH (for RHD) has been removed and installed, or if the front power window regulator motor assembly LH (for LHD) or front power window regulator motor assembly RH (for RHD) was reused when the door glass or door glass run was replaced, initialize the power window control system.

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS


    1. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

      CAUTION:

      Be careful to avoid injuries as this test causes vehicle parts to move. During the Active Test, the jam protection function will not operate.

    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Wait for at least 10 seconds, and then turn the ignition switch to ON.
