Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles..

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  • A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the rear console box sub-assembly with the 4 bolts and 2 screws.

    2. Attach the clamp.

      *1 Screw *2 Bolt

  2. INSTALL CONSOLE REAR END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01QU9X

      Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the 4 clips and 2 claws to install the console rear end panel sub-assembly.

  3. INSTALL LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL


    1. A01QQXU

      Attach the 5 clips to install the lower center instrument panel finish panel.

  4. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX CARPET


    1. Install the console box carpet.

  5. INSTALL UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the upper rear console panel sub-assembly.

  6. INSTALL INNER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACKET COVER LH


    1. Attach the guide and 2 clips to install the inner No. 1 instrument panel bracket cover LH.

  7. INSTALL INNER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACKET COVER RH


    1. Attach the guide and 2 clips to install the inner No. 1 instrument panel bracket cover RH.

  8. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle)


    1. Attach the 12 clips to install the upper console panel sub-assembly.

      Lower the shift lever boot to connect it to the shift lever assembly.

  9. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (except Manual Transaxle)


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the 12 clips to install the upper console panel sub-assembly.

  10. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Attach the 9 clips and claw to install the parking brake hole cover sub-assembly.

  11. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle)


    1. A01QTOV

      Twist the shift lever knob sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow to install it.

  12. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (except Manual Transaxle)


    1. A01QPPQ

      Twist the shift lever knob sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow to install it.
