FRONT CONSOLE BOX REMOVAL

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle)


    1. A01QTWZ

      Twist the shift lever knob sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove it.

  2. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (except Manual Transaxle)


    1. A01QO5L

      Twist the shift lever knob sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove it.

  3. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      A01QSVW Protective Tape

      Apply protective tape as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using moulding remover B, detach the 9 clips and claw and remove the parking brake hole cover sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle)


    1. A01QR18

      Pull up the shift lever boot and disconnect it from the shift lever assembly.

    2. Apply protective tape as shown in the illustration.

    3. Using moulding remover B, detach the 12 clips and remove the upper console panel sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (except Manual Transaxle)


    1. Apply protective tape as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using moulding remover B, detach the 12 clips and remove the upper console panel sub-assembly.

      Disconnect the connector.

  6. REMOVE INNER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACKET COVER LH

    1. Detach the 2 clips and guide and remove the inner No. 1 instrument panel bracket cover LH.

  7. REMOVE INNER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACKET COVER RH

    1. Detach the 2 clips and guide and remove the inner No. 1 instrument panel bracket cover RH.

  8. REMOVE UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01QPDQ

      Detach the 4 claws and remove the upper rear console panel sub-assembly.

  9. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CARPET


    1. A01QQDZ

      Remove the console box carpet.

  10. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL


    1. A01QSUMC01
      A01QSVW Protective Tape.

      Apply protective tape as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using moulding remover B, detach the 5 clips and remove the lower center instrument panel finish panel.

  11. REMOVE CONSOLE REAR END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01QU9X

      Detach the 4 clips and 2 claws.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the console rear end panel sub-assembly.

  12. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the 2 screws and 4 bolts.

    2. Detach the clamp and remove the rear console box sub-assembly.
