COMPRESSOR(for 1AD-FTV, 2AD-FHV, 2AD-FTV) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

2. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT

   for 2AD-FHV: Click here

   for 2AD-FTV: Click here

3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

   Click here

4. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH

   Click here

5. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH

   Click here

6. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER REINFORCEMENT LH

   Click here

7. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER REINFORCEMENT RH

   Click here

8. REMOVE FRONT CROSSMEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY

   Click here

9. REMOVE NO. 3 AIR HOSE

   Click here

10. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR TUBE

    Click here

11. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    
    

    1. 

       Remove the bolt and disconnect the discharge hose sub-assembly from the compressor assembly with pulley.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose sub-assembly.

       Note

       Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

12. DISCONNECT SUCTION HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    
    

    1. 

       Remove the bolt and disconnect the suction hose sub-assembly from the compressor assembly with pulley.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the suction hose sub-assembly.

       Note

       Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

13. REMOVE COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY WITH PULLEY

    
    

    1. 

       Disconnect the connector and detach the harness clamp.

    2. 

       Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

    3. Using an E8 ''TORX'' socket wrench, remove the 2 stud bolts and compressor assembly with pulley.
