COMPRESSOR(for 2AR-FE) DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE COOLER COMPRESSOR BRACKET


    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the connector clamp.

      Remove the screw and cooler compressor bracket.

  2. REMOVE MAGNET CLUTCH ASSEMBLY

      *a Hold
      *b Turn

      Clamp the cooler compressor in a vise between aluminum plates.

    2. Using SST, hold the magnet clutch hub.

    3. Remove the bolt, magnet clutch hub and magnet clutch washer(s).

      Tech Tips

      There is no set number of magnet clutch washers since they are used for adjusting.

    4. A00YW4J

      Using a snap ring expander, remove the snap ring.

      Note

      Do not damage the seal cover of the bearing when removing the snap ring.

    5. Detach the connector clamp and remove the magnet clutch rotor.

    6. A00YTL6

      Using a snap ring expander, remove the snap ring and magnet clutch stator.
