REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR SEAT BELT RETRACTOR COVER LH


    1. Attach the claw to install the rear seat belt retractor cover LH.

  2. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01VA50C01
      *1 Bolt (A)
      *2 Bolt (B)

      Align the 2 claws with the seat belt positioning holes, and install the retractor of the rear No. 1 seat outer belt assembly LH with the 2 bolts as shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      for bolt A
      12.5 N*m  { 127 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }
      for bolt B
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH

  4. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH

  5. INSTALL DECK TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER

  6. CONNECT REAR NO. 1 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Connect the shoulder anchor of the rear No. 1 seat outer belt assembly LH with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    2. Check that the rear No. 1 seat outer belt assembly LH is not twisted.

    3. Connect the floor anchor of the rear No. 1 seat outer belt assembly LH with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    4. Check that the rear No. 1 seat outer belt assembly LH is not twisted.

  7. INSTALL SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER CAP


    1. Attach the guide and 2 claws to install the seat belt anchor cover cap.

  8. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

  11. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR MAT SUPPORT SIDE PLATE

  12. INSTALL REAR DECK TRIM COVER (w/ Full Size Spare Tire)

  13. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE (w/o Spare Tire, for Compact Tire)
