FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)


    1. A00YWE2C01
      *1 Protruding Part

      Install the front seat inner belt assembly with the nut.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not allow the anchor of the front seat inner belt assembly LH to overlap the protruding part of the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

    2. Connect each connector and each clamp.

      Return the separate type front seat cushion cover to its original position.

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)


    1. w/o Occupant Detection ECU:


      1. Use the same procedure as for the driver seat.

      *1 Protruding Part

      w/ Occupant Detection ECU:


      1. Install the front seat inner belt assembly with the nut.

        Torque:
        42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

        Note

        Do not allow the anchor of the front seat inner belt assembly RH to overlap the protruding part of the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

      2. Attach the guide to install the limit switch of the front seat inner belt assembly.

      3. Install the screw.

      4. A00YSEK

        Return the separate type front seat cushion cover to its original position.

      5. Connect each connector and each clamp.

      6. Attach the 2 guides and 2 claws to install the front set inner cushion shield RH.
