FRONT SEATBACK HEATER(for Power Seat) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (for LHD)

   

   *a	Component without harness connected (Front Seatback Heater Assembly LH)

   
   

   1. Check the front seatback heater assembly LH.

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Seatback heater temperature 20°C (68°F) 1.68 to 1.72 Ω 1 - 3 Seatback heater temperature 20°C (68°F) 4.22 to 4.30 Ω

         If the result is not as specified, replace the front seatback heater assembly LH.

2. INSPECT FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY RH (for RHD)

   

   *a	Component without harness connected (Front Seatback Heater Assembly RH)

   
   

   1. Check the front seatback heater assembly RH.

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Seatback heater temperature 20°C (68°F) 1.68 to 1.72 Ω 1 - 3 Seatback heater temperature 20°C (68°F) 4.22 to 4.30 Ω

         If the result is not as specified, replace the front seatback heater assembly RH.
