Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL OUTER MIRROR RETRACTOR LH


    1. Install the support with the 4 screws.

    2. Pass a new harness sub-assembly through the frame sub-assembly.

    3. Connect the connector.

      Temporarily install a new frame sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

    5. Install the new frame sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

      Torque:
      2.0 N*m  { 20 kgf*cm, 18 in.*lbf }

    6. Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, install 3 new screws.

      Torque:
      3.3 N*m  { 34 kgf*cm, 29 in.*lbf }

    7. Install the gasket sub-assembly to the outer rear view mirror assembly LH.

    8. A01QQLFC02
      *1 Tape

      Wrap new tape as shown in the illustration.

      Area Measurement
      A 50 mm

  2. INSTALL LOWER OUTER MIRROR COVER LH


    1. A01QT7Q

      Attach the 5 claws to install the lower outer mirror cover LH.

    2. Attach the 5 guides and install the gasket.

  3. INSTALL SIDE TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY LH
