PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL BACK DOOR PANEL CUSHION


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the 2 new back door panel cushions.

    2. Connect the connector and detach the clamp.

  2. INSTALL BACK DOOR DAMPER STAY LOWER BRACKET LH (w/o Power Back Door)

    Tech Tips

    When installing the back door glass channel, heat the vehicle body using a heat light.

    Standard
    Item Temperature
    Vehicle Body 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)

    Note

    Do not heat the vehicle body excessively.


    1. Clean the vehicle body surface.


      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.

      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Install a new back door glass channel LH.


      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body.

      2. Remove the peeling paper from the face of the back door glass channel LH.

        Tech Tips

        After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      3. Install the back door glass channel LH.

        Tech Tips

        Press the back door glass channel LH firmly to install it.

    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the door pull handle.

    1. Attach the 4 claws and 4 guides to install the back door No. 1 service hole cover.

  33. INSTALL BACK DOOR NO. 2 SERVICE HOLE COVER


    1. Attach the 2 claws and 2 guides to install the back door No. 2 service hole cover.

  34. INSTALL BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH


    1. Attach the 2 claws and 2 guides to install the back door service hole cover LH.

  35. INSTALL BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  36. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD ASSEMBLY


    1. Attach the 13 clips to install the back door trim board assembly.

  37. INSTALL BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH LH


    1. Attach the 2 claws and 2 clips to install the back door side garnish LH.

  38. INSTALL BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    1. Attach the 4 claws and 4 clips to install the back door center garnish.
