If the replacement, removal and installation of the multiplex network door ECU or disconnection of the connectors of the multiplex network door ECU has been performed, initialize the power back door system.

  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

    2. Check for DTCs.

  2. READ VALUE USING GTS


    1. Check the Data List for proper functioning of the power back door sensor assembly RH.

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU - POWER BACK DOOR SENSOR ASSEMBLY RH)


    1. Disconnect the U29 multiplex network door ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the U10 power back door sensor assembly RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      U29-6 (OSR) - U10-1 (OSR) Always Below 1 Ω
      U29-24 (OSE) - U10-2 (OSRE) Always Below 1 Ω
      U29-6 (OSR) or U10-1 (OSR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      U29-24 (OSE) or U10-2 (OSRE) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
