LIGHTING SYSTEM Door Unlock Detection Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) detects the condition of each door unlock detection switch.

When replacing the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU), make sure to replace it with a new one.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (DOOR LOCK POSITION SWITCH)


    1. Using the GTS, read the Data List.

  2. INSPECT FRONT DOOR WITH MOTOR LOCK ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Remove the front door with motor lock assembly RH.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT DOOR WITH MOTOR LOCK ASSEMBLY RH - MAIN BODY ECU AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the G78 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.

    2. Disconnect the I10 front door with motor lock assembly RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I10-7 (LSSR) - G78-18 (LSFR) Always Below 1 Ω
      I10-8 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      I10-7 (LSSR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  4. INSPECT FRONT DOOR WITH MOTOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Remove the front door with motor lock assembly LH.

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT DOOR WITH MOTOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH - MAIN BODY ECU AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the G78 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.

    2. Disconnect the J10 front door with motor lock assembly LH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J10-8 (LSSR) - G78-7 (LSFL) Always Below 1 Ω
      J10-7 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      J10-8 (LSSR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  8. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR DOOR WITH MOTOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH - INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the 3E instrument panel junction block assembly connector

    2. Disconnect the L4 rear door with motor lock assembly LH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      w/ Double Locking System
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L4-5 (LSSR) - 3E-32 Always Below 1 Ω
      L4-6 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      L4-5 (LSSR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      w/o Double Locking System

      L4-6 (LSSR) - 3E-32 Always Below 1 Ω
      L4-9 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    1. Disconnect the 3C instrument panel junction block assembly connector

    2. Disconnect the K4 rear door with motor lock assembly RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      K4-9 (LSSR) - 3C-41 Always Below 1 Ω
      K4-10 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
