BLOCKING SYSTEM DTC CHECK / CLEAR

Tech Tips


  • When using the GTS with the vehicle ignition switch off, connect the GTS to the vehicle and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at intervals of 1.5 seconds or less until communication between the GTS and the vehicle begins. Then select the Model Code "KEY REGIST" under manual mode and enter the following menus: (desired system). While using the GTS, periodically turn a courtesy light switch on and off at intervals of 1.5 seconds or less to maintain communication between the GTS and the vehicle.

  1. CHECK FOR TELEPHONE TRANSCEIVER ASSEMBLY DTC


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Telematics / Trouble Codes.

    5. Check for DTCs.


      Body Electrical > Telematics > Trouble Codes

  2. CHECK FOR CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) DTC (w/ Entry and Start System)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Entry&Start / Trouble Codes.

    5. Check for DTCs.


      Body Electrical > Entry&Start > Trouble Codes

  3. CHECK FOR TRANSPONDER KEY ECU ASSEMBLY DTC (w/o Entry and Start System)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Immobiliser / Trouble Codes.

    5. Check for DTCs.


      Body Electrical > Immobiliser > Trouble Codes

  4. CHECK FOR ECM DTC


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes.

    5. Check for DTCs.


      Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Trouble Codes

  5. CLEAR TELEPHONE TRANSCEIVER ASSEMBLY DTC


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Telematics / Trouble Codes / Clear DTCs.

    5. Clear the DTCs.


      Body Electrical > Telematics > Clear DTCs

  6. CLEAR CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) DTC (w/ Entry and Start System)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Entry&Start / Trouble Codes / Clear DTCs.

    5. Clear the DTCs.


      Body Electrical > Entry&Start > Clear DTCs

  7. CLEAR TRANSPONDER KEY ECU ASSEMBLY DTC (w/o Entry and Start System)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Immobiliser / Trouble Codes / Clear DTCs.

    5. Clear the DTCs.


      Body Electrical > Immobiliser > Clear DTCs

  8. CLEAR ECM DTC


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes / Clear DTCs.

    5. Clear the DTCs.


      Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Clear DTCs
