REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY(for RH Side) DISASSEMBLY

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seatback frame, seat cushion frame and reclining adjuster may injure your hands.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the rear seat headrest assembly.

  2. REMOVE REAR SEAT COVER CAP RH

      *1 Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 claws to remove the rear seat cover cap RH.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  3. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH

      Remove the 3 screws and reclining adjuster release handle RH.

  4. REMOVE REAR SEAT NO. 1 CUSHION HINGE COVER

      Detach the 4 claws and guide to remove the rear seat No. 1 cushion hinge cover.

  5. REMOVE REAR SEAT NO. 2 CUSHION HINGE COVER

      Detach the 4 claws and guide to remove the rear seat No. 2 cushion hinge cover.

  6. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Detach the 4 clamps to disconnect the wire harness.

      Detach the 18 hooks.

      Remove the 3 hog rings and separate type seat cushion cover with pad from the rear seat cushion frame sub-assembly RH.

  7. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER

      Remove the hog ring.

    2. B002AD3

      Remove the 13 hog rings and separate type rear seat cushion cover from the rear seat cushion pad RH.

  8. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Seat Heater System)

  9. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER

      *1 Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws to remove the rear seatback cover.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  10. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Detach the cable clamp.

      *1 Cable Clamp *2 Cable End
      *3 Clamp - -

    2. Disconnect the cable end in the order shown in the illustration.

    3. Remove the 2 clamps to disconnect the No. 2 seat adjuster control cable assembly from the rear seat cushion frame sub-assembly RH.

    4. B002AAK

      Remove the 4 bolts, 4 bushes and rear seat cushion frame sub-assembly RH.

  11. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER RH

      w/o Child Restraint System Guide:


      1. Remove the clip and screw.

      2. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw to remove the rear seatback cover RH.

        Tech Tips

        Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      w/ Child Restraint System Guide:


      1. Remove the screw.

      2. Detach the 4 claws to remove the rear seatback cover RH.

  12. REMOVE REAR SEAT COVER

      w/o Child Restraint System Guide:


      1. Remove the clip and screw.

      2. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw to remove the rear seat cover.

        Tech Tips

        Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      1. Remove the screw.

      2. Detach the 4 claws to remove the rear seat cover.

  13. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Child Restraint System Guide)

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws to remove the rear seatback hinge sub-assembly LH.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  14. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Child Restraint System Guide)

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws to remove the rear seatback hinge sub-assembly RH.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  15. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION MOULDING RH

      Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and 2 guides to remove the rear seat cushion moulding RH.

  16. REMOVE REAR SEAT REAR CUSHION MOULDING RH

      *1 Clamp
      *2 Guide

      w/ Seat Belt Warning System:

      Detach the 2 clamps to disconnect the wire harness.

    2. Detach the claw and guide to remove the rear seat rear cushion moulding RH.

  17. REMOVE NO. 2 SEAT ADJUSTER CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

      *1 Cable Clamp A
      *2 Cable End
      *3 Clamp
      *4 Cable Clamp B

      Detach the 2 cable clamps (A).

    2. Disconnect the 2 cable ends in the order shown in the illustration.

    3. Remove the 2 clamps.

    4. Detach the cable clamp (B).

    5. Pass the No. 2 seat adjuster control cable assembly through the hole of the rear seat reclining adjuster assembly RH to remove the No. 2 seat adjuster control cable assembly.

  18. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER LAP TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY RH

  20. REMOVE NO. 1 SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH

      Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 seatback assembly RH from the rear seat reclining adjuster assembly RH.

  21. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK BOARD RH

      Remove the 4 hog rings.

    2. B002A35

      Open the 2 fasteners.

    3. B002A4T

      Detach the 5 claws.

    4. Move the rear seatback board RH in the direction of the arrow to detach the guide and remove the rear seatback board assembly RH.

  22. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

      Detach the 6 hooks.

    2. B002ANS

      Detach the 4 claws to remove the 2 rear seat headrest supports.

    3. Remove the separate type rear seatback cover with pad from the rear seatback frame sub-assembly RH.

  23. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER

      Remove the 2 hog rings.

      Remove the 11 hog rings and separate type rear seatback cover from the rear seat cushion pad RH.
