PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE LH


    1. A00YXVO

      Attach the 6 clamps to install the front seat wire LH.

    2. Connect the 3 connectors.

  2. INSTALL SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP


    1. Install the 2 seat adjuster cover caps to the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly LH.

  3. INSTALL FRONT OUTER SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH

      Install the front outer seat cushion edge protector LH in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

  4. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the front outer seat cushion edge protector LH.

  5. INSTALL FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH


    1. Attach the clamp to install the front lower seat cushion shield LH.

      Attach the hook in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

    3. Install the screw.

  6. INSTALL FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the front lower seat cushion shield LH.

  7. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A00YWXI

      Install the front seat inner belt assembly LH with the nut.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    2. Attach the 2 clamps.

      *1 Wire Harness Clamp
      *2 Connector Clamp

      Attach the 2 wire harness clamps and connector clamp.

  8. INSTALL SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR (w/ Occupant Classification System)

  9. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System)

    Click here

  10. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. Set the separate type front seat cushion cover in place.

    2. Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with 21 new hog rings as shown in the illustration.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      Tech Tips

      Install the hog rings at the cutouts if they are there.

  11. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. Attach the 9 hooks to install the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

      *2 Connector Clamp

      w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Attach the 3 wire harness clamps and connector clamp to connect the seat cushion heater wire.

      2. Connect the connector.

  12. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 SEAT WIRE LH

    1. Attach the 2 clamps to install the front No. 2 seat wire LH.

    2. Connect the 2 connectors.

  13. INSTALL FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)

  14. INSTALL SEATBACK FELT


    1. Install the seatback felt to the separate type front seatback spring assembly LH.

  15. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK PAD


    1. Install the separate type front seatback pad to the separate type front seatback spring assembly LH.

  16. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System)

  17. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER


    1. Set the separate type front seatback cover in place.

      *1 Hog Ring Pliers
      *a Cutout

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover to the separate type front seatback pad with 8 new hog rings as shown in the illustration.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seatback cover.

      Tech Tips

      Install the hog rings at the cutouts if they are there.

    3. w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:


      1. Pass the separate type front seatback cover bracket through the separate type front seatback pad.

      2. for Single Type:

        Install the nut.

        Torque:
        5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

      3. for Dual Type:

        Install the 2 nuts.

        Torque:
        5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

    4. Close the 2 fasteners.

      Pull the straps to tighten them and confirm that there is a protrusion visible on each side.

      *1 Hog Ring Pliers
      *a Cutout

      Using hog ring pliers, connect the straps of the separate type front seatback cover to the separate type front seatback frame sub-assembly LH with 3 new hog rings as shown in the illustration.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the straps of the separate type front seatback cover.

      Tech Tips

      Install the hog rings at the cutouts if they are there.

      *a Cutout

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover to the separate type front seatback frame sub-assembly LH with 5 new hog rings as shown in the illustration.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the straps of the separate type front seatback cover.

      Tech Tips

      Install the hog rings at the cutouts if they are there.

  18. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT


    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

  19. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY


    1. A00YS4L

      Install the separate type front seatback assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }
    2. A00YTFJ

      Attach the 2 hooks.

    3. Connect the connector and attach the clamp.

      *1 Fastener

      w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:


      1. Attach the fastener to connect the wire harness of the front seat airbag assembly LH.

        *1 Wire Harness Clamp
        *2 Connector Clamp

        Attach the 4 wire harness clamps and connector clamp.

    5. A00YRJV

      w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Connect the connector.

      2. Attach the wire harness clamp and connector clamp.

    6. Connect the rubber band.

  20. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Attach the 3 guides and 2 claws as indicated by the arrows in the order shown in the illustration to install the front inner seat cushion shield LH.

  21. INSTALL POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  24. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the reclining power seat switch knob.

  25. INSTALL SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

  26. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

      *1 w/o Seat Memory
      *2 w/ Seat Memory

      w/o Seat Memory:

      Connect the 2 connectors and attach the 3 clamps to install the front seat cushion shield LH.

    2. w/ Seat Memory:

      Connect the 3 connectors and attach the 3 clamps to install the front seat cushion shield LH.

    3. Attach the 3 claws to close the cover.

      Attach the 3 guides and claw as indicated by the arrows in the order shown in the illustration.

    5. Attach the clip.

  27. INSTALL FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Attach the 2 claws, guide and clip in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to install the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield LH.

    2. Attach the claw and install the screw.
