FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Power Seat) DISASSEMBLY

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the screw and detach the claw.

   2. 

      Detach the clip, guide and 2 claws in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to remove the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield LH.

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

   
   

   1. 

      	First
      	Second

      Detach the clip.

   2. Detach the claw and 3 guides as indicated by the arrows in the order shown in the illustration.

   3. 

      *A	w/o Seat Memory
      *B	w/ Seat Memory

      Detach the 3 claws to open the cover.

   4. w/o Seat Memory:

      Disconnect the 2 connectors and detach the 3 clamps to remove the front seat cushion shield LH.

   5. w/ Seat Memory:

      Disconnect the 3 connectors and detach the 3 clamps to remove the front seat cushion shield LH.

3. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

   
   

   1. 

      Using a moulding remover, detach the 2 claws to remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

4. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

   
   

   1. 

      Using a moulding remover, detach the 2 claws to remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

5. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH (w/o Seat Memory)

6. REMOVE POSITION CONTROL ECU AND SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Memory)

7. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

   Click here

8. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

   
   

   1. 

      	First
      	Second

      Detach the 2 claws and 3 guides as indicated by the arrows in the order shown in the illustration to remove the front inner seat cushion shield LH.

9. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. 

      Disconnect the connector and detach the clamp.

   2. 

      Disconnect the rubber band.

   3. 

      *1	Wire Harness Clamp
      *2	Connector Clamp

      w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:

      
      

      1. Detach the 4 wire harness clamps and connector clamp.

      2. 

         *1

         Fastener

         Detach the fastener to disconnect the wire harness of the front seat airbag assembly LH.

   4. 

      w/ Seat Heater System:

      
      

      1. Detach the wire harness clamp and connector clamp.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

   5. 

      Detach the 2 hooks.

   6. 

      Remove the 4 bolts and separate type front seatback assembly.

10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

    
    

    1. 

       Detach the 4 claws to remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

    
    

    1. 

       Remove the 5 hog rings.

    2. 

       Remove the 3 hog rings.

    3. Open the 2 fasteners.

    4. 

       Open the 2 fasteners.

    5. w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:

       
       

       1. 

          for Single Type:

          Remove the nut.

       2. 

          for Dual Type:

          Remove the 2 nuts.

       3. Pull the separate type front seatback cover bracket from the separate type front seatback pad.

    6. 

       Remove the 8 hog rings and separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

12. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY LH

13. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK PAD

    
    

    1. Remove the separate type front seatback pad from the separate type front seatback spring assembly LH.

14. REMOVE SEATBACK FELT

    
    

    1. Remove the seatback felt from the separate type front seatback spring assembly LH.

15. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)

16. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SEAT WIRE LH

    
    

    1. 

       Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Detach the 2 clamps to remove the front No. 2 seat wire LH.

17. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

    
    

    1. w/ Seat Heater System:

       
       
       1. 

          *1	Wire Harness Clamp
          *2	Connector Clamp

          Disconnect the connector.

       2. Detach the 3 wire harness clamps and connector clamp to disconnect the seat cushion heater wire.

    2. Detach the 9 hooks and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

       

18. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

    
    

    1. Remove the 21 hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

       

19. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH

20. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR (w/ Occupant Classification System)

21. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

    
    

    1. 

       *1	Wire Harness Clamp
       *2	Connector Clamp

       Detach the 2 wire harness clamps and connector clamp.

    2. 

       Detach the 2 clamps.

    3. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly LH.

22. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

    
    

    1. 

       Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the hook in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

    3. 

       Detach the clip to remove the front lower seat cushion shield LH.

23. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the front lower seat cushion shield LH.

24. REMOVE FRONT OUTER SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH

    
    

    1. 

       Remove the front outer seat cushion edge protector LH in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

25. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the front outer seat cushion edge protector LH.

26. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

    
    

    1. Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps from the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly LH.

27. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE LH

    

    
    

    1. Disconnect the 3 connectors.

    2. Detach the 6 clamps to remove the front seat wire LH.
