SEAT HEATER SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK


  1. CHECK FRONT SEAT HEATER


    1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    2. Check that the indicator illuminates and the surface of the front seat warms up, when the front seat heater switch is turned on.

    3. Check that the front seat surface temperature changes according to the operation of the front seat heater switch on the air conditioning control assembly as follows: HI → LO.

  2. CHECK REAR SEAT HEATER (w/ Rear Seat Heater)

    Tech Tips


    • Due to the limitation of the charge/discharge balance management load, the rear seat heater may not operate. Check that no messages are displayed on the accessory meter assembly.

    • When the heated windshield defroster system is operating, the rear seat heater will not operate. Make sure to turn the heated windshield defroster system off before checking the rear seat heater.


    1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    2. Check that the indicator illuminates and the surface of the rear seat warms up, when the rear seat heater switch is turned on.
