REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY(for LH Side) REASSEMBLY

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

CAUTION:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seatback frame, seat cushion frame and reclining adjuster may injure your hands.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System)

  2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER


    1. A01QP79C01
      *1 Hog Ring Pliers

      Set the separate type rear seatback cover in place.

    2. Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seatback cover to the separate type rear seatback pad with 11 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover.

    3. A01QQGTC01
      *1 Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, install 5 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover.

  3. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. A01QRNY

      Attach the 9 hooks to install the separate type rear seatback cover with pad to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly LH.

    2. A01QSGM

      Attach the 8 claws to install the 4 rear seat headrest supports.

    3. A01QP6P

      Attach the 9 hooks.

  4. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK BOARD LH


    1. A01QODG

      Move the rear seatback board LH in the direction of the arrow to attach the guide.

    2. Attach the 7 claws to install the rear seatback board assembly LH.

    3. A01QSDG

      Close the 2 fasteners.

      *1 Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, install 6 new hog rings and attach the 2 pieces of fastener.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover.

  5. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01QSGF

      Install the rear No. 1 seatback assembly LH to the rear seat reclining adjuster assembly LH with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  6. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01QPDS

      Install the rear seat inner belt assembly LH with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  7. INSTALL NO. 2 SEAT ADJUSTER CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY


    1. A01QPPBC01
      *1 Cable Clamp A
      *2 Cable End
      *3 Clamp
      *4 Cable Clamp B

      Pass the No. 2 seat adjuster control cable assembly through the hole of the rear seat reclining adjuster assembly LH.

    2. Attach the cable clamp (A).

    3. Install the 2 clamps.

    4. Connect the 2 cable ends in the order shown in the illustration.

    5. Attach the 2 cable clamps (B).

  8. INSTALL REAR SEAT REAR CUSHION MOULDING LH


    1. A01QSZCC01
      *1 Clamp
      *2 Guide

      Attach the guide and claw to install the rear seat rear cushion moulding LH.

    2. w/ Seat Belt Warning System:

      Attach the 2 clamps to connect the wire harness.

  9. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION MOULDING LH


    1. A01QUKY

      Attach the 3 guides and claw to install the rear seat cushion moulding LH.

  10. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Child Restraint System Guide)


    1. A01QSJB

      Attach the 2 claws to install the rear seatback hinge sub-assembly RH.

  11. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Child Restraint System Guide)


    1. A01QOT3

      Attach the 2 claws to install the rear seatback hinge sub-assembly LH.

  12. INSTALL REAR SEAT COVER


    1. A01QSQO

      w/o Child Restraint System Guide:


      1. Attach the claw to install the rear seat cover.

      2. Install the clip and screw.

    2. A01QT1Q

      w/ Child Restraint System Guide:


      1. Attach the 4 claws to install the rear seat cover.

      2. Install the screw.

  13. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER RH


    1. A01QT6I

      w/o Child Restraint System Guide:


      1. Attach the claw to install the rear seatback cover RH.

      2. Install the clip and screw.

      w/ Child Restraint System Guide:


      1. Attach the 4 claws to install the rear seatback cover RH.

      2. Install the screw.

  14. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01QOOF

      Install the rear seat cushion frame sub-assembly LH with the 4 bushes and 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

    2. Connect the No. 2 seat adjuster control cable assembly to the rear seat cushion frame sub-assembly LH with the 3 clamps.

    3. Connect the cable end in the order shown in the illustration.

    4. Attach the cable clamp.

  15. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER

      Attach the 2 claws to install the rear seatback cover.

  16. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System)

  17. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER

      *1 Hog Ring Pliers

      Set the separate type rear seat cushion cover in place.

    2. Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seat cushion cover to the rear seat cushion pad LH with 13 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seat cushion cover.

      Using hog ring pliers, install 2 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seat cushion cover.

  18. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      *1 Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, install 3 new hog rings.

    2. Install the separate type seat cushion cover with pad to the rear seat cushion frame sub-assembly LH with the 22 hooks.

      1. Connect the connector.

      2. Attach the 4 clamps to connect the wire harness.

  19. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOWER CUSHION HINGE COVER LH


    1. A01QSLO

      Attach the guide and 4 claws to install the rear seat lower cushion hinge cover LH.

  20. INSTALL REAR SEAT NO. 3 CUSHION HINGE COVER


    1. A01QRGL

      Attach the guide and 4 claws to install the rear seat No. 3 cushion hinge cover.

  21. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH


    1. A01QS76

      Install the reclining adjuster release handle LH with the 3 screws.

  22. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK NO. 1 BOARD CAP


    1. A01QOIM

      Attach the 3 claws to install the rear seatback No. 1 board cap.

  23. INSTALL REAR SEAT NO. 1 CENTER ARMREST PLATE


    1. A01QUC8

      Install the rear seat No. 1 center armrest plate.

  24. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST ASSEMBLY


    1. A01QOSU

      Install the rear seat center armrest assembly with the washer and bolt.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

  25. INSTALL CENTER ARMREST HINGE COVER RH


    1. A01QSMX

      Attach the claw to install the center armrest hinge cover RH.

  26. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT LAP TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Install the rear seat center headrest assembly.
