PROCEDURE

1. CHECK LOOSENESS OF V-RIBBED BELT

   
   

   1. Check the tension of the V-ribbed belt by pushing it down with a finger.

      OK
      The tension of the V-ribbed belt is sufficient.

      Result
      OK NG

   
   

   NG

   INSPECT V-RIBBED BELT Click here

   OK

2. CHECK V-RIBBED BELT FOR WEAR

   
   

   1. Check the V-ribbed belt for wear.

      OK
      The V-ribbed belt is not worn.

      Result
      OK NG

   
   

   NG

   REPLACE V-RIBBED BELT Click here

   OK

3. CHECK GENERATOR PULLEY WITH CLUTCH FOR WEAR

   
   

   1. Check the generator pulley with clutch grooves for wear or other defects.

      OK
      The generator pulley with clutch grooves is not damaged.

      Result
      OK NG

   
   

   NG

   REPLACE GENERATOR PULLEY WITH CLUTCH Click here

   OK

4. CHECK FOR NOISE WHILE GENERATOR PULLEY WITH CLUTCH IS OPERATING

   
   

   1. Perform a road test and check if noise occurs when decelerating.

      OK
      Noise does not occur.

      Result
      OK NG
