GENERATOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the generator assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:

      25 N*m  { 255 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Be careful that the wire harness of the crankshaft position sensor does not get caught between the cylinder block and generator when installing the generator assembly.

   2. Install the wire harness clamp bracket with the bolt.

      Torque:

      7.7 N*m  { 79 kgf*cm, 68 in.*lbf }

   3. Install the wire harness to terminal B with the nut.

      Torque:

      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

   4. Install the terminal cap.

   5. Connect the generator connector and attach the wire harness clamp.

2. INSTALL WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET

   
   

   1. Install the wire harness clamp bracket with the bolt.

      Torque:

      13 N*m  { 127 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

   2. Attach the wire harness clamp and connect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

3. INSTALL FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY RH

4. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

   Click here

5. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER

   Click here

6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
