DESCRIPTION

The blind spot monitor sensor receives vehicle speed signals from the brake actuator assembly via CAN communication.

Note

When checking for DTCs, make sure that the blind spot monitor main switch (warning cancel switch assembly*1 or telltale light assembly*2) is on.

  1. CHECK BRAKE CONTROL SYSTEM


    1. Check brake control system.

    1. Check for anti-lock brake system DTCs.

  3. CHECK DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRC > Clear DTCs

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

      No DTC is output
      DTC is output from the blind spot monitor sensor LH (master)
      DTC is output from the blind spot monitor sensor RH (slave)
