DESCRIPTION

The No. 3 ultrasonic sensor (rear corner sensor LH) is installed on the rear bumper. The ECU detects obstacles based on signals received from the No. 3 ultrasonic sensor (rear corner sensor LH). If the No. 3 ultrasonic sensor (rear corner sensor LH) has an open circuit or other malfunction, it will not function normally.

Note

If the DTC is output after repairs, turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the TOYOTA parking assist-sensor system on. Then clear the DTC.

    1. Replace the No. 3 ultrasonic sensor (rear corner sensor LH) with a normally functioning sensor.
