  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELLTALE LIGHT ASSEMBLY - BATTERY)

      (to Telltale Light Assembly)

      Disconnect the telltale light assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      G43-9 (LAPB) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      G43-9 (LAPB) - Body ground Ignition switch off Below 1 V

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY - TELLTALE LIGHT ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the G33 clearance warning ECU assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the G43 telltale light assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G33-7 (L1) - G43-4 (RR) Always Below 1 Ω
      G33-8 (L2) - G43-2 (RL) Always Below 1 Ω
      G33-10 (L10) - G43-5 (OP) Always Below 1 Ω
      G33-23 (L3) - G43-3 (BK) Always Below 1 Ω
      G33-7 (L1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G33-8 (L2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G33-10 (L10) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G33-23 (L3) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
