NAVIGATION SYSTEM(for SD) Data Signal Circuit between Navigation Receiver Assembly and Stereo Jack Adapter

DESCRIPTION

The No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly sends the sound data signal or image data signal from a USB device to the navigation receiver assembly via this circuit.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the G149*1 or G197*2 navigation receiver assembly connector.


      • *1: for RHD

        *2: for LHD

    2. Disconnect the G145 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for RHD:
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G149-2 (UDO-) - G145-2 (UDO-) Always Below 1 Ω
      G149-3 (UDO+) - G145-3 (UDO+) Always Below 1 Ω
      G149-2 (UDO-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G149-3 (UDO+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      for LHD:
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G197-2 (US1-) - G145-2 (UDO-) Always Below 1 Ω
      G197-3 (US1+) - G145-3 (UDO+) Always Below 1 Ω
      G197-2 (US1-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G197-3 (US1+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
