AUDIO AND VISUAL SYSTEM(for Radio and Display Type) Reverse Signal Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The radio and display receiver assembly receives a reverse signal from the park/neutral position switch assembly*1 or back-up light switch assembly*2 to use for adjusting the vehicle position on the display.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK VEHICLE SIGNAL (OPERATION CHECK)


    1. A01V7NK

      Enter the "Function Check/Setting I" mode and select "Vehicle Signal".

      Click here

    2. Check that the display changes between ON and OFF according to the shift lever position.

      Tech Tips

      This display is updated once per second. As a result, it is normal for the display to lag behind the actual shift lever position.

      Disconnect the radio and display receiver assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      G143-2 (REV) - Body ground Ignition switch ON, shift lever any position other than in R Below 1 V

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the G143 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the B36*1 or B101*2 park/neutral position switch assembly connector.


      • *1: for 3ZR-FAE

      • *2: except 3ZR-FAE

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for 3ZR-FAE

    2. Disconnect the B35 back-up light switch assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
