PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK CONNECTION OF NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY


    1. Check if the navigation antenna assembly is securely connected to the antenna cord sub-assembly.

      OK
      Navigation antenna assembly is securely connected.
      Result
      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    NG

    SECURELY CONNECT NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

  2. CHECK ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the antenna connector from the radio and display receiver assembly.

    2. Disconnect the antenna connector from the navigation antenna assembly.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 1 Always Below 1 Ω
      1b - 1a Always Below 1 Ω
      1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      1b - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  3. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Reconnect the antenna connectors to the radio and display receiver assembly and navigation antenna assembly.

    2. Clear the DTCs.

  4. CHECK NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY


    1. Replace the navigation antenna assembly with a known good one.
