AUDIO AND VISUAL SYSTEM(for Radio Receiver Type) Data Signal Circuit between Radio Receiver and Stereo Jack Adapter

DESCRIPTION

The No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly sends the sound data signal or image data signal from a USB device to the radio receiver assembly via this circuit.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the G196*1 or G146*2 radio receiver assembly connector.


      • *1: for LHD

      • *2: for RHD

    2. Disconnect the G145 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      G196-2 (US1-) - G145-2 (UDO-) Always Below 1 Ω
      G196-3 (US1+) - G145-3 (UDO+) Always Below 1 Ω
      G196-2 (US1-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G196-3 (US1+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      for RHD
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G146-2 (UDO-) - G145-2 (UDO-) Always Below 1 Ω
      G146-3 (UDO+) - G145-3 (UDO+) Always Below 1 Ω
      G146-2 (UDO-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G146-3 (UDO+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
