DESCRIPTION
The power steering ECU assembly distinguishes the ignition switch status as ON or off through the IG power source circuit.

PROCEDURE
CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION AND GROUND WIRE
Check the connection condition of the ECU wire sub-assembly and power steering ECU assembly connectors.

READ VALUE USING GTS (IG POWER SUPPLY)
Turn the ignition switch off.
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Chassis / EMPS / Data List.
Select the item "IG power supply" in the Data List and read the value displayed on the GTS.

Disconnect the hG1 ECU wire sub-assembly connector.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Connect the hG1 connector to the ECU wire sub-assembly.
Disconnect the h1 and h2 power steering ECU assembly connectors.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
